Besides being passionate about painting and interior design outside of the industry. I’m incredibly passionate about gender equality and diversity in all aspects, especially in the advertising industry. Below is some of the work I’ve done to try push for and create balance.
#51days51ways to close the gender pay gap. Due to the current gender pay gap every woman in the UK works for free from November 10th until the end of the year. That’s 51 days. To highlight and help change this fact we reached out to 51 industry leaders such as Cindy Gallop, Laura Jordan Bambach and other CEOs, CCOs, ECDs, MDs and CDs from top agencies, to give us their solution. Then every day for the 51 days we shared them on the SHESAYS social channels.
I started an annual SHESAYS event based around the time of year when the best new graduates prepare to enter our industries. To celebrate, we put six female D&AD New Blood Winners into the limelight and to make sure everyone really remembered them I got everyone to sketch them.
This enabled event attendees to learn a new skill like drawing but also meet and see some great new talent!
The first one was In partnership with GREY London and LARA, and under the tutorage of portraiture Luca Indraccolo
